Creation Debate Bill Nye Ken Ham

Evolution Creation Debate: The only verses you need to quote in reference to this debate:

There is no debate with those who hate God. God Himself walked away from those who hated Him…

“‘A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.’ And He left them and departed” (Matthew 16:4).

Notice how God Himself walked away from those who were seeking “proof” of His own existence. The “proof” was literally staring them right in the face but yet the “proof” just turned and walked away.

God walks away from the rejection of faith and so should His sheep.

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:3, 6).

“Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,’ and ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.’ They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:7-9).

“But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will” (2 Timothy 2:23-26).

A genuine Christian should never argue over the semantics of evolution. When teaching on the spiritual matters directly related to accepting or rejecting God’s explanation of creation, a pastor or Sunday school teacher should present the message gently and humbly.

It takes faith and faith = proof.
